Access. Confidence. Opportunity. For Everyone.
CodeHero Foundation is a Canadian not-for-profit organization committed to expanding access to Tech education and digital opportunities for underserved and underrepresented communities. We empower Kids and Teens (ages 7–17), Youths (18-54) and Seniors (55 & above) with free and accessible technology education, mentorship, and pathways to innovation, ensuring no one is left behind in the digital future.
A Foundation Born From Community Need
CodeHero Foundation was created after years of working closely with families through CodeHero Academy. While many people were eager to learn and explore technology, we repeatedly encountered barriers – cost, access, resources, and awareness – that has often limited participation, especially for kids from minority and indigenous groups. It birthed a larger gap in view. Canada’s Digital Divide Is Growing. Thousands of people, especially from low-income, newcomer, Indigenous, and marginalized communities, lack access to computers, mentorship, and quality Tech education. Without intervention, these people are excluded from the opportunities shaping tomorrow.
Rather than ignore the gap, we responded to it.
CodeHero Foundation exists to remove those barriers and ensure more individuals can access the skills, confidence, and opportunities needed to thrive in a digital world.
This Foundation is not a school. It is a mission-driven organization focused on access, equity, and early opportunity.
We Bring Digital Opportunity to Every Community.
We provide:
- Free & subsidized tech programs for underserved youth
- Mentorship from diverse industry professionals
- Innovation labs, community outreach, and school partnerships
- Access to technology, devices, and digital literacy tools
- Annual youth innovation platforms like KIT 1.0 Conference
- Digital safety and cybersecurity awareness, helping adults and seniors protect themselves and their data.
- Guidance on responsible and safe online use, promoting informed content consumption
Our work transforms people from Tech consumers into informed, confident, safe and future-ready problem-solvers at every stage of life.
Turning Access Into Opportunity
We support Kids and Teens (ages 7–17), Youths (18-54) and Seniors (55 & above) at the earliest stages of their Tech journey by focusing on access, exposure, and empowerment
Accessible Tech Learning - Innovation & Projects

An Annual Global Tech Conference designed for kids and teens. KIT brings young innovators together in an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and early exposure to technology on a global stage.
Scholarships & Financial Support
Support mechanisms that help remove financial barriers for individuals and families who would otherwise be excluded from Tech learning opportunities.
Community Outreach
Partnerships with schools, community organizations, and local groups to bring Tech exposure directly to everyone where they live and learn.
Early Access Changes Everything
In today’s world, technology shapes education, careers, and opportunities. Yet many people are excluded from Tech education long before they realize what they are capable of, whether in childhood, youth, or later in life. Without timely exposure, confidence, and sustained support, potential remains unrealized.
CodeHero Foundation exists to intervene at every stage of life; for kids and teens discovering their abilities, youths seeking skills and direction, and seniors embracing new possibilities. We step in before gaps become limits, before confidence fades, and before opportunity feels out of reach.
The Need Is Clear… And Growing!
Our community engagement through CodeHero Academy has already:
- Engaged families across Toronto, Ottawa, and the GTA
- Groomed several Students in building apps, websites, games & real tech solutions
- Improved confidence, academic performance & STEM interest reported by parents of these kids
These experiences revealed a clear need for a dedicated nonprofit focused on access and equity.
Every donation, partnership, and volunteer hour expands this impact.
This Foundation is our commitment to meeting that need.
